Bring on them storm chasing boys

Alright y'all, I did it.
One of Mom's classic prompts/warmups. The I Am Poem. I'm going to slap it down, won't change a thing, and post it before I can regret it. Here goes nothin.....

A weather advisory to the boys:
I am
Doppler art
A hurricane
gray eyed wild haired and breezy
Little calm center is a main attraction
My belly button the center of attention and humid intentions and cirrus wisp clouds
Shit will fly
Limbs will break
But it’s pretty on the radar and hard to forget
So no evacuators wanted.
I don’t want no man who’s gonna to hide in his bathtub. Gonna worry when the lights go dead.
Boys, I want you soaked.
Throw your satellites up in the air like white flags.
Turn off the news and stand in me with your arms wide open, heads flung back, your cameras rolling.
Just to catch me.
With your eyes closed it’s not so rough, I promise
Still smells like a vacation you never had to survive
Don’t let the rain choke you
And when those sirens wail you better wail right back, boys
You better wail right back
Emily
